If you think your bill is incorrect you should contact your retailer and ask them to explain the breakdown of the bill. If you think there has been a mistake you can then start a complaint process.

Choosing energy efficient products is key to saving money on electricity.
The Energy Rating Label, which show stars on the label, lets people compare the energy efficiency of similar appliances. The more stars, the more efficient a model is.
You can also avoid power hungry appliances by using EECA’s Rightware tool to find the most efficient products.
What does the Authority do?
We monitor the electricity market. We keep track of what is causing price increases. In recent years price increases have mostly been caused by increases in the monopoly parts of the sector (distribution and transmission). We also manage the What’s My Number website which lets you quickly compare retail brands.
